I have been in clinical practice for over 30 years, firstly in London and for the last 14 years in Cornwall. I am registered with the UKCP www.psychotherapy.org.uk
My practice includes individual and couple work and supervision. I work with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, relationships, concerns about identity and sexuality. My training background in both humanistic and psychoanalytic therapy makes me well placed to supervise counsellors and psychotherapists from across the psychotherapy field. I also coordinate a training programme in clinical psychoanalysis in Truro for the Society for Social and Critical Psychoanalysis on which I also teach and supervise www.SSCP.uk
I have a particular interest in working with people who are struggling with the confusions and conflicting demands of contemporary life.
If you think that you would benefit from therapy, I am happy to invite you along for an initial conversation so we can discuss your questions and concerns.
I have a long standing professional involvement in the field of adoption and various other fields of research such as class and psychoanalysis.
I have been involved in training psychotherapists since 2002. All students who qualify will be eligible to be registered with UKCP.
